Codename CURE is a first person, co-operative zombie game running on the Source Engine. Codename CURE is a fun fast paced co-op zombie shooter in a Similar vein as CoD: Zombies or Left 4 Dead, in which you play a squad of special military operatives on objective-based missions to infiltrate and blow up zombie infection epicentres.

Although the graphics work well enough, Codename CURE isn’t going to win any awards for it’s visuals. The main draw is the fast paced run and gun gameplay as you try and get in and out of strategic locations in one piece. You have a choice of five player classes – Pointman, Support, Assault, Technician and Sniper, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. You and your squad must break into zombie infected areas, plant a bomb and get out fast. Infiltration is fairly easy, but getting back out before the bomb blows can be pretty tough – especially as the way you entered is often not accessible.

Codename CURE is still early in development and could do with a bit more graphical polish, but the team-based run and gun gameplay is already very enjoyable. Fast paced zombie blasting fun.
